Max Ophüls Prize for 'The Life of Sean DeLear'

We are delighted with the success of the documentary The Life of Sean DeLear by Markus Zizenbacher. The moving documentary about the dazzling life of queer underground icon Sean DeLear celebrated its premiere at the Max Ophüls Preis 2025 film festival, where it was awarded the prize for best documentary.

Klangkulisse was responsible for the audio post-production for this special project. The sound design and mixing were in the hands of Eli Frauscher, who realized the sound design in close collaboration with Markus Zizenbacher.
